Introduction:
Teething may begin as early as six months of age. Your baby may feel some discomfort when his teeth began to erupt through his gums.
Symptoms:
Your baby may become more irritable when he is teething. He may not want to eat and he may have trouble sleeping. You may notice that he is drooling more than usual or rubbing his face and ears.
Diagnosis:
Your dentist will want to know about all you baby’s symptoms particularly the ear pulling since that may mean an infection.
Treatment:
What works for one baby may not work for another. You may want to try massaging the gums, or using a pacifier or teething ring. Ask your dentist for other suggestions.
